Уйльям Шекспирийн анхлан бүтээсэн англи хэлний 10 үг

Шекспир байгаагүйсэн бол англи хэлний өргөн хэрэглээний эдгээр арван үг биднийг хүртэл ирэх байсан эсэх нь эргэлзээтэй.

Английн яруу найрагч, жүжгийн зохиолч Уи́льям Шекспир (англ. William Shakespeare) амьдралынхаа туршид 38 жүжиг, 154 сонет, 4 найраглал бичсэн байдаг.   

Түүнээс гадна Шекспир английн бичгийн хэлний хөгжилд асар их хувь нэмрээ оруулсан. Түүний бүтээлд  өмнө тааралдаж байгаагүй 2200 шинэ үг хэрэглэгдсэн. Шекспир үгийн угтвар, залгаварыг зоригтой өөрчлөн шинэ үг хэрэглэхдээ гарамгай байсан бөгөөд «words coined by William Shakespeare» гэдэг хэлц гарч байжээ.

Энд Шекспирийн англи хэлэнд анхлан сэдэж, хэрэглээнд оруулсан 10 үгийг эхний ээлжинд  толилуулж байна.

1. ADDICTION - ДОН, ХОРХОЙ, МУУ ЗУРШИЛ

2. ADVERTISING - ЗАР СУРТАЛЧИЛГАА

3. ASSASSINATION - УЛС ТӨРИЙН (ЗАХИАЛГАТ) АЛЛАГА

4. BELONGINGS - ЭД ХОГШИЛ, ЭД АГУУРС, ХОГШИЛ

5. EYEBALL - НҮДНИЙ ЦӨЦГИЙ

6. FASHIONABLE - ГАНГАН ХЭЭНЦЭР, ДЭГЖИН

7. HOT-BLOODED - ТҮРГЭН УУРТАЙ, ШАЗРУУН

8. LONELY - ОР ГАНЦААР

Will or exceed the common or be caught

With cautelous baits and practise.»  

9. LUGGAGE - АЧАА, ТЭЭШ

«Hence, and bestow your luggage where you found it.»

10. MANAGER - МЕНЕЖЕР

Where is our usual manager of mirth?

What revels are in hand? Is there no play

To ease the anguish of a torturing hour?
